Damian is a member of the newly formed Grahame Lesh & Friends. The band is the youngest branch to sprout from the Grateful Dead family tree. At it’s core, they’ve taken to completing and reviving unfinished and rare tracks from the Dead’s vast catalogue. Jewels such as Equinox, an outake from the Dead’s Terrapin Station album, written by Grahame’s dad Phil Lesh, or Mountain Song, are at the heart of the band’s repertoire. Mountain Song was oringally developed in 1971 by Jerry Garcia, David Crosby, Phil Lesh, Grace Slick, and Paul Kantner, and beautifully completed forty years later by Grahame’s brother Brian Lesh. The band released it’s first vinyl 12” EP, Let The Mountain Be My Home, in October 2024.
Damian has also toured and gigged as keyboardist with Yarn, Andy Falco Band, Railroad Earth, Todd Sheaffer & Friends, Andy Falco’s Blues Laboratory, Swampadelica and beyond.
